I might as well simply quote you! My resolutions from day to day are simply to laugh, live and love more.

Along with actually being healthful and responsible about my actions, of course!

1. Meditate at least 20 minutes every day. (I do this now, but sometimes, the habit falters)
2. Get out into the great outdoors more, helps me feel better!
3. Ween myself from anger and hate.
4. Live presently more, no matter the societal detriments.

Mine are basically to get active. Both physically and emotionally/mentally.

- Start bike riding again
- Do yoga at least a couple times a week
- Go trail walking at least one hour a week
- Get rid of the physical and mental boundaries I've put on myself

Let's see...

- Put some meat on them bones.
- Go back to attending Hatha Yoga class every week, and practise at home.
- Spend less time in bed, designate it as a place of rest.
- Continue throwing away a decade's worth of clutter (started yesterday).
- Become more mindful.
- Learn to forget less.
- Learn to organise more.
- Continue to be in awe of Ketamine's miracle work.

adhere to the rules of trophology with more rigid discipline
train more, longer, harder

Just for this month:

-start including endive in meals regularly (super alkaline and anti inflammatory plus it's YUMMY. Peel the layers raw and use it like a "chip" for raw vegan dips. MMMM!!!!)

-figure out some new things to do with raw ground flax.

-juice fast/liver cleanse at some point soon.

-workout with weights regularly.

-walk the driveway at least 5 times a week to build endurance.

-add more lemon water and cucumber/celery juice to provide electrolytes

...those are just a few of my physical goals. Overall goals I have many, but not going to list them all here as I'm still working them out.

Go for it hun!! <3

My main health goals are:
*quit drinking
*compete in my first full marathon (in July)
*compete in another triathlon
*to avoid any injuries during training or events
*maintain a healthy diet (usually this is achievable when I'm not drinking anyway so hopefully it won't be too hard)

One Hundred And Seventy Degrees Celcius

*not so much*

Completely?

Yes indeed sir. It's been a long time coming and I want to have a baby soon so it has to be done. For me it's either all or nothing, and with alcohol, it has to be nothing.
Breaks my heart but it has to be done.
It's going to be fucking hard though so it won't happen immediately. So we will have a few other chances for absinthe adventures before I'm done for good ;) <3

n3o, I'm glad to hear you're going to give up drinking this year! The replacements you have lined up far outweigh keeping alcohol in your life. :)

Good for you! It is an absolutely worthless drug that I wouldnt wish on anyone. Quitting drinking was the best thing I ever did. It cleans your life out of so much negativity. Health problems, fake "friends" (when I quit drinking 99% of all the people I knew basically vanished from my life because they only know how to socialize when there is alcohol involved-and I was glad to have them gone), hangovers, losing control.... it's just all so shitty. Get it out of your life and evolve your life. :)

Great thread dude!!

*start doing my ashtanga every morning when I wake up instead of in the evening.(getting read yto go to India in April, so will be good before Mysore etc to get in the habit of it.)

*Start cycling again (need a new saddle - my last one got stolen :( )

*start working on toning & bulking my pecs and tricep (then I'll be happyyyyy) at home every other day.

*Maintain the diet I've worked out for myself, and just make it more interesting now.

* Cut drinking down to once a week - no more no less. ;)

* Smoke more ganja (instead of the drinking, but not MORE MORE)

* Start swimming at least 3 times a month.

- exercising daily again, even if its something mellow
- eating mostly fresh foods and little processed and junk foods
- cutting ties with the negative people in my life and making a few new friends
- exploring and traveling as much as i can
- forgiving myself for mistakes that i've made in the past and moving on

Happy 2011 everyone ! :D

What sequence do you do for Ashtanga??? I had worked up through second series and was trying some of the very difficult third series poses a few years ago. It is a journey! Is that older guy in mysore still alive or has he passed? His son is quite good. I had always planned a trip there but didnt go (and then I drifted out of ashtanga and back into climbing).

very good thread :)

* get to 80kg, currently 76, last 4kg extremely hard to gain :)
* eat more vit c/fruit
* well im going to amsterdam, dont come back mentally e-tarded
* meditate everyday

*return to swimming training
*do a 1/2 iron man triathlon by the end of this year
*feel confident enough in sparring in order to try a little girly fight (with a gentle competitor please)
*be happy with me and not worry as much (the hardest part!)
